Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, West Wales 09th March 2025 - 16th March 2025 - Scuba diving conditions are looking suitable for the next few days, with light, medium winds and moderate sea swells. The sea state should be smoother even for experienced divers. Conditions are looking suitable for the next few days and unsafe in some regions. Sites close to Cardiff, Swansea, Carmarthen will all have the harder conditions and limited visibility and the West Wales sites such as Martins Haven and Site Brides bay the better conditions and visibility all round. The swell is due to pick up by the end of the week and may cause more turbulent diving conditions in the region. No diving in areas close to Cardiff, Swansea, South Wales, West Wales

Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Carmarthenshire 08th October 2020 - The scuba diving on the South wales coast at the moment is not looking good at all. There are high winds and big swells throughout the region affecting the diving across the area. There will be unsafe water entry and exit conditions due to the wind and swell and poor visibility, definitely worth sitting out for the next few days and waiting for the wind and swell to drop and the conditions to clear. Areas in the Cardiff, Swansea, Carmarthen. Newport, West Wales are all unsuitable due to the winds varying directions and strengths for the next few days.. The government lockdown policies are now changing daily and there are new restrictions on several sites, please follow the government legislation and restrictions for the day.

PADI and SSI Open Water Diver courses in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and South Wales 08th October 2020 - The PADI and SSI diving programmes are now under government restrictions with our next training pool session on 20th March 2021. We are elated to get our students back in the water scuba diving and are planning to run our full diving programme from the pool session on 20th March 2021 onwards. As always the theoretical sections of the course can all be completed online prior to the pool session training. We will then be offering the full Open water training programme from 10th October onwards.

SCUBA DIVING CONDITIONS REPORT FOR CARDIFF, SWANSEA, NEWPORT, SOUTH WALES AREA
The conditions for scuba diving this weeks for sites in the South Wales area including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Llanelli, Stackpole quay are unsettled at the beginning of the week and then calming into the later part of the week. The best options to dive would be towards Stackpole Quay in the shelltered bay on the incoming tide when the swell and the winds are low.
This week we are off on our epic adventure scuba diving in South Africa and Mozambique. We are flying out on Thursday from Heathrow airport to Johannesburg arriving on Friday. The dives sites will be the best shark dive sites in the world including Aliwal Shoal, Protea Banks, Sodwana Bay and Ponta Do Ouro in Mozambique. We are a team of PADI International Instructors, PADI International Rescue divers and PADI International Advanced Divers. As always this will be a life changing tour for all concerned we shall keep you all updated.

Theres nothing better than heading off down the Coast for a good weekend of Scuba Diving, this weekend we are in Southampton for a PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course training event.

We will be teaching on both Saturday and Sunday to teach the students the art of Scuba Diving for an upcoming expedition they are attending,  the course will run through all the aspects of theory and practical skills for them to get the in depth knowledge they need before heading off on their tour.
