Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, West Wales 04th May - 11th May 2025 - Scuba diving conditions are looking suitable for the next few days, with light, medium, strong winds and smooth, moderate, sea swells. The sea state should be smoother even for experienced divers. Conditions are looking un-suitable for the next few days and unsafe in some regions. Sites close to Cardiff, Swansea, Carmarthen will all have the harder conditions and limited visibility and the West Wales sites such as Martins Haven and Site Brides bay the better conditions and visibility all round. The swell is due to pick up by the end of the week and may cause more turbulent diving conditions in the region. There is diving in areas close to Cardiff, Swansea, South Wales, West Wales
Scuba Diving Conditions for Cardiff, Swansea, South Wales and West Wales areas . Another week and more wind and swell on the South Wales coastline, there hasn't been a settled period for some time, so the visability is not good around Cardiff, Swansea areas. The best chance of a good dive as usual will be towards West Wales, may even be OK in Stackpole Quay this next few days especially early afternoon when the tides are coming in. St Brides, Martins Haven, Dale in Pembrokeshire again will be the best options for good diving. Visability should be alot better, the water temperature is up around the 15 degrees and the swell in this area is a minimal compared to the rest of the region.
This weekend we are teaching the PADI Open Water Referral Diver course to students from all over the region including Swansea, Bridgend, Nweport Brecon and all over South Wales.
