WEATHER - Very Autumnal week ahead, rain for most days and high winds. Temperatures are still in double figures but will feel colder with the high winds especially from the East, Big Easterly winds coming through on Saturday so be aware of the colder air the Easterlies will bring. Also very strong high winds on Monday and Tuesday next week coming in from the South but temperatures will fell higher. Could be drier on Thursday next week as the rain breaks and winds could also drop giving a better day. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2648385?day=2) (https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcjqmsw80

WIND -  Strong Easterly, Westerly and Southerly winds predicted for this week ahead. Saturday will see strong Easterlies up to 25mph bringing in colder winds then Monday and Tuesday will have strong Southerlies up to 37 mph. Wind will then change to Westerlies on Wednesday up to 28mph. Varied winds through the week and some days up to gale force. Check windguru for the Porthcawl and regional wind forecast.
SEA STATE and SWELL -  With varied strong winds and strong swells this will depend on the day for the sea state. Possibly the calmest day inshore will be Saturday with strong Easterly winds blowing offshore and calming the sea state for the local South Wales area, the swell is also lower on Saturday and calmer seas. The other days will be choppy and stormy especially Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with big Westerly and Southerly winds and big sea swells.

SCUBA DIVING WALES, SOUTH WALES CARDIFF, SWANSEA, LLANELLI, CARMARTHENSHIRE - Stormy sea state, high winds, big swells, big surf all amount to unsuitable scuba diving conditions in the South Wales area. The Autumnal weather is definitely affecting the inshore conditions in the region with volatile entry and exit, rip currents, swells, all round sea state. In land sites in the area would definitely be more suitable not affected by wind, tide or swell.
