Low winds. low swells, low surf , good temperatures both land and Sea. This should be the best week for diving conditions for the last few weeks. Diving will be better on the incoming and high tides especially with the settled conditions. The further to the West will get the better visibility with Stackpole Quay having the better conditions. Water Temperatures are up to 16 degrees so all round good conditions.

PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver courses - Good diving conditions will draw diers into the water over the next few days. the PADI Open Water Diver qualification would be the entry level to be able to dive and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver would be great to be guided in the Open Water. The better levels would be the PADI Rescue Diver and up to the PADI Divemaster especially where the visibility will be less towards South Wales close to Cardiff and Swansea.

SCUBA DIVING WALES, SOUTH WALES CARDIFF, SWANSEA, LLANELLI, CARMARTHENSHIRE - There should be good access to certain dive sites this week depending on the wind direction as there are strong Easterly winds today and strong winds tomorrow. The weather is good and the swell is small tomorrow so may get better scuba diving conditions on Saturday. As the swell and the wind pick up conditions will change making harder diving conditions. As always diving will be better on the incoming tides in most areas.

PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver courses - The better level of diver is the rescue diver qualification for the dives in the UK. With big tides, strong currents, surf, swells and limited visibility at times, then the more competent diver the safer diver with these conditions. We are running all courses in the PADI System for all levels of divers to gain competency and ability to dive off the shores of the UK and the Welsh coastline.

SCUBA DIVING CONDITIONS REPORT SOUTH WALES, CARDIFF, SWANSEA, PORTHCAWL, LLANLLEI, STACK POLE

The weather at the moment is very unpredictable, in fact the only thing we can predict is that there will be no suitable Scuba diving conditions along the South Wales Coast, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, llanelli, Stackpole for the next few days due to stroms, sea state, visibility. The best option would be to head inland to protected dive facilities.

The start of a new year brings the start of our new PADI Open Water Diver programme, we are running the PADI Open Water diver course across the region with dates starting from today and through the rest of the year, conditions will not interrupt as we use theory, swimming pools and inland lakes for our initial diver training.
