Scuba Diving Wales, South Wales, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, West Wales 18th August 2021- Scuba diving conditions are looking fair for the next few days with off shore winds and general sea swells. The sea state should be manageable for experienced divers and looking better on Tuesday as the swell drops to low and the winds are predominantly off shore across the South wales region. Sites close to Cardiff, Swansea, Camarthen will all have the harder conditions and limited visibility and the West Wales sites such as Martins Haven and Site Brides bay the better conditions and visibility all round. The swell is due to pick up by the end of the week and may cause more turbulent diving conditions in the region.

Light winds and small swells are allowing the water to settle and conditions are calm and clear for many days. The swell through out the week is minimal and the winds are favorable as well. The entrance and exit conditions for inshore diving is looking suitable through out the area in positions next to Cardiff, Porthcawl, Swansea, Camarthen and into West Wales. Good scuba diving conditions will be found especially in West Wales area around Skomer Island, Martins Haven, St Brides areas. Inland sites are very busy at the moment with warmer waters and better visibility. Water temperatures are up to 16 degrees at the moment and air temperatures are moderate to high.
